My customer loves to go pick
up his grandchildren from school, going to the grocery store. While at home he
loves to watch tv and take naps while watching the birds pass by. Sometimes if he
is feeling energetic he will do some fixing to his house or garden. My customer
is the retired community. By retired I mean they have made enough money to stop
working, they may do some work here and there but have made a sufficient amount
of money to live. Most of the retired community that drives has a Buicks,
Lincolns, or Cadillac’s. Some may feel they need a fierce red while others
settle for a grey color. My customer enjoys watching the news to see what is
going on in the world. He may also get the newspaper to read while watching jeopardy
or wheel of fortune. My customer has children and grandchildren by now. My
customers favorite book is Harry Potter saga. My customer is well in his
sixties. From being a hard business man and always going he feels like he is still
in his late forties. I would not say me and my avatar have anything in common
but more I seek to be him one day. After all of my hard work and dedication I
would want to be comfortable with my money and be able to spend it on what I
want. Nothing feels better than working and watching it all pay off.

ReplyDeleteYour avatar and I have something in common..... we both love the Harry Potter story! I thought that your description of your avatar was sufficiently descriptive. Funnily enough, I can picture my grandparents acting in the exact ways in which you describe your avatar. It's interesting that you say he feels as if he is in his forties considering he seems to act (for the most part) like a stereotypical retiree. My prototypical customer has a lot in common with me, I think because I see myself enjoying conducting business with an individual with whom I share values. Great work!

ReplyDeleteI like the laissez faire nature of the avatar and his ability to enjoy life as it is now. Even though you are not retired or even close to it, I feel like you have a personal connection with this character. Maybe not you, but a family member. I could be wrong, but I really think this character is inspired by someone close to you. With that being said, I think this proves that you provided realistic qualities to your character that will go far in predicting how they will act in the market. Overall, I am excited to see you force this avatar to react with your product as we move forward. Fantastic work!

ReplyDeleteGreat job on your avatar and really elaborating on all of the different aspects of what an ideal customer looks like for you. I think that older people are the best people to target when it comes to new cars because they not only have the money but they have the leisure time to travel and get the most of the vehicle. Being in retired communities or like retirement towns, you actually see some of the newer and nicer cars so I think this was a great direction to go in. Well done!
