Ight Imma Head Out

I plan on keeping my business. I want it to start a label for DD. Designated Driver is one of many products I want labeled with the term DD. With the slogan you fill in the lines. Many people have given me nicknames that have DD in it. Eventually when I am old and no longer work I will give my businesses to people who I care about in life. The people who help me get to where I may go. This is all a hope and if it will really happens then maybe dreams do come true. I got this concept after someone close to me had passed away. He gave me my original DD nickname. His death has changed my whole mindset. I now work hard to grow as a human. One day I hope to have a wonderful family. The only way that happens is by preparing now. By working hard I can be a boss of a company and be able to support my family one day. I have always thought of the preparing for the future. For example instead of wasting renewable resources such as gas I made the Designated Driver a battery and solar panel operated car. Bill gates just came out with a solar panel that can store power so that it last through the whole day. That is an innovative idea I can add to my car. Constant improvement allows for a product and business to stay successful. Look how innovative the iPhone was, think of how the first iPhone was compared to today’s iPhone. I wish everyone luck in their exit strategy.

Celebrating Failure

I'd like to make a toast.

A time I failed this semester was the week of the hurricane. When we came back from the hurricane I realized my assignment had failed to submit. I emailed asking if I could submit it and was sadly not allowed. It cost me 8% of my grade in the class. After realizing that I could not get above a 92% it affected my grades even more. I had less room to mess up before I lost the A- I had. This was supposed to be a class that helped my gpa not hurt it. After this semester I will not have my 3.68 gpa. It has taught me that even one week of missing work can affect your grades. I handle failure very well. In this case I know to make sure all my assignments are done or at least turn in what I have so that I can at least get a grade. A 40 is better than a 0. The fact is you cannot change the past you prepare for the future. Giving up never got someone anywhere. If anything giving up is the worst failure you could make. Failure has many meanings. For me you can have failures and if your successful then you learn from your failures. Having failures is a stepping stone in success. I am less likely to take the risk of waiting until the last minute to submit assignments. Waiting to submit just causes stress. I will now focus on dueling my assignments as early as I can. I learned to not submit assignments late anymore and I have since turned all my work in on time.

Venture Concept No. 1

I feel the most important resource is safety. The car is safe enough to protect the people inside the vehicle. People can sit and relax as their car drives them across town. What makes it hard for my competitors is they do not have bed in their cars or cars with solar panels. Designated Design also has a futuristic look that only Tesla can compare to.

Opportunity

The need is more of a want. The good thing about Designated Driver being a want is that it is worth its price. Many thing are considered a must have want but do not live up to their expectations. Designated Driver is actually one of the best cars to drive when comparing what it does to the environment. Since Designated Driver is only battery and solar power it emits zero fuel emissions. Designated Driver is not meant for people who do not have money to spend. If you are someone who struggles to pay rent then you should not be buying one of these cars. People currently have lane assist or Tesla’s. Telsa is the only other company to run off of battery and not require someone to have their hands on the wheel. The do have to pay attention but not as much as a normal car would require. There is currently still a huge opportunity for a self-driving car that has reclining chairs. Until there are cars that can fly there will be a market for self-driving cars.

Innovation

Designated Driver is a set of cars that allow for people to sit in relaxation while their car takes them to work. The cupholders keep drinks warm or cold depending on what drink it is. Simply quick a button for your car to pick you up from your front steps of work as it drives you home. The hood and some roofs have solar panels so that the car can gain extra power throughout the day. The power can restored and planned on how it is used. With how much power is being provided the car almost is never capable of dying. The base model will be sold at $40,000. The highest models will be worth a nice house, all the way up to $250,000. The best models provide everything someone could ask for in a car. The car even comes with a fridge that can keep thing cool for up to 20 hours.

Venture Concept

Designated Driver will solve the issue with safety on the roads. Many people die due to bad driving on the roads. People also fall asleep driving and end up driving off the road into something. The reason people will by my product is it offers everything someone could need. The car drives for you, keeps you safe, and many more. For the people who like to help the environment Designated Driver is the best car they could drive since it produces zero fuel emissions.  People would switch to designated design because it is the future. Nobody could image a car that is any better. It may take time for people to switch but once they find out how they have an amazing car and are helping the environment they will never switch again. Designated Design biggest competitor is Tesla. Tesla’s biggest weakness is that they still have not made profit. Since opening they have only stayed opened to funding. Another reason they are vulnerable is because no other car company is like them. The best thing Designated Design has to offer as business is their customer service. Taking care of the customer is the most important thing. We would rather go bankrupt than hear that people felt they were treated poorly by Designated Driver. For my business I would need a lot of workers. I would need separate departments from service people to sales men to computer scientist. There are so many aspects but for the headquarters and sales lots there would need to be over 500 employee’s.

In five years I want to be the biggest selling car company. With a goal that there will be millions of people driving a Designated Driver in the next 3 years. I also want to become a inventor. I feel that I am good at being innovative and changing products little by little. But if a company does not continue to innovate it will go out of business in this day and time. Seeing this company take off would teach me that anything is possible.
